General Magnetics Limited located in the heart of Singapore, is a boutique manufacturer of optical media and audio cassette under its label General®.
The company began in 1973 with audio cassette assembly and in the 80's vertically integrated its manufacturing include injection moulding. In the late 1980s, it became Singapore's first CD manufacturing facility. Eventually expanding its production to recordable CD and DVDs.
